Brief Respite .........................

Everyonce in a while a blogger needs to step back, re-fuel, develop some new ideas .... so MarQe's Study is being put on hold for what could be a day or two or a week or two or maybe more! My actual activity playing on the scene has drawn to a halt, there are a host of reasons for this to dull to write about ..... Flash Fiction Friday # 12 : Organ Recital
Organ Recital
The Family had been summoned to the music room. Fiona had been instructed, in a most detailed and strict manner about how she was to prepare for everyone’s arrival in time for her final recital before her examination. There were hushed gasps of shock, eyes averted & cough’s of disbelief as Fiona’s immediate & extended Family members took their seats. Fiona sat at the organ, naked! She wore a black bow tie around her neck. The female members of the family new the significance of this item when wore by a female member of their family! Upon the top of the organ was set a large purple cushion & across that lay a large cane carpet beater.
The significance of the bow tie? It was worn by female family members who had been awarded a severe thrashing at Fathers hand later that evening usually. All the family was now in the room. Fiona stood, placed both hands upon her head and began nervously to explain her predicament,
“Papa, Mama & my dearest Family, I have my final exam tomorrow and ..” her voice stuttered, “…. I have failed to do the required preparation ….. Dear Papa tested me earlier and I was unable to play the required piece to his satisfaction…..” She stumbled on her words again …. Her Father stood up,
“ Fiona is to play the piece for you and has you can see I am confident no improvement will be forthcoming. Therefore Fiona will have 50 strokes of the beater that so many of you are so familiar with, applied in front of you all and with each of you counting her strokes together”.
He turns to Fiona, “My darling ……….. play”

Moving Forward ............... A necessary but potentially boring post!
A while back I did a post stating my intentions to add to & broaden the scope of MarQe's Study. A new template is still being mulled over but its not being put in place until it is dead right and I have to brush up on my HTML skills to help me with that! I've started taking part in Flash Fiction Friday and am delighted with the comments I've got so far but realise I have along way to go in writing Flash Fiction to the standard some other contributors achieve. Taylor Anderson will be in & out of the place, she is a real busy lady in R/L but I'm sure she'll be here from time to time. I'm open to offers from any ladies that feel they'd like to make occasional contributions, maybe some Spanking fiction or if you are just dipping your toes in the Spanko Blogging scene and want somewhere to try out? As long as you accept my editorial decisions and don't step outside certain guidelines that would be great !!
In terms of hits this is now the second biggest blog I've posted, my last big one was a music blog which made 500K hits before I called time on it. But I do intend hitting a Million here at least before making any radical changes. Of course it is up to you readers/visitors to communicate & encourage so I know what you like or don't like! I'm delighted with the number of comments I've been getting, keep them coming, please ?
Subject matter ? Well fairly obviously spanking is the mainstay for the existence of MarQe's Study & will continue to be so. But expect more vintage pin-ups, Tattoo related posts, Fetish posts but there will be nothing I consider offensive.
Can I ask that if I link to your bog I would appreciate a reciprocal link, I don't run ads so its only about spreading the word and massaging my ego as I see my hit counter turning !!
The polls I run are just for fun, I'd love suggestions as to what should be polled, but strict censorship will be applied, so behave !!
Last of all & the part I expect little or no response to is the fact that I am active as a disciplinarian in the UK and am always willing to enter into correspondence that might lead to real meets, whilst observing best practice regards individual safety, mine included !

Flash Fiction Friday # 11: Blind ....
~ ~
Blind ...She was promised a beating & a reward. Blindfolded, not knowing what implement would be used upon her, cold. Her collar had helped tie her to the bed & stoically she had taken 36 strokes, sound & hard.
