The middle to end of August cannot come quick enough but of course when it does come then the three, Yes THREE spanking assignations I have arranged will soon be dust, such is life! If pulp fiction by Jim Thompson, Film Noir & Jessica Alba getting spanked don't get your interest then you're probably at the wrong blog! However judging by my brief enquiries locally & further afield then it may be a case of waiting for the DVD or checking your local Art-House screen before you'll get to see it. Now at this point I should point out for those of you that haven't read the reviews the reaction to Michael Winterbottom's adaptation of Jim Thompson's pulp novel has been mixed due to the scene's of violence shown toward the film's female character's. Of course this does not directly refer to the spanking content but the later extreme murder scenes. Of course our press love to have their cake & eat it. So whilst relishing the chance to mention 'Spanking' & 'BDSM' to attract readers who enjoy such things in a safe consensual environment when all along they quite rightly uphold the torch against non-consensual violence.

Me? I want to see it because I love Thompson's writing & have enjoyed other film adaptations of his work, Casey Affleck's recent films, 'Gone baby Gone' & 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' are amongst two of my favourite releases on dvd and of course seeing Jessica Alba getting spanked is hardly discouragement.
Note* However just to be clear I most certainly DO NOT approve of the abuse of women or anyone or anything for that matter !!
