Hi Ian & thanks for taking time to answer ten question's. I promise 'No trick questions' and I won't expect the whole truth !! OK ?
So firstly...
Just explain again what prompted the launch of YEOWCH! 2? You still seem to be posting interim posts at the original YEOWCH! as well, are you just a workaholic ?
"First off, just want to say how much I'm enjoying your Interview series, MarQe. It's always fun reading about how other bloggers go about doing what they do. As for your question, well, YEOWCH 2 is really a sort of test blog to be honest. I'm basically doing it to gain experience with the full version of Wordpress and to learn more about the requirements of running a top level domain blog on paid hosting. Yes, I still post to Blogger YEOWCH as it is still listed on a number of excellent spank blogs and gets good feedback. It would be a shame to delete it so I'll keep it ticking over with posts."
You use your own host for your sites am I right ? Would you recommend this to bloggers ready to take that next step & escape from the likes of Blogger & wordpress & so on, does it have
any big advantages ?
"Yes, bought the domain and been using paid hosting for about 3 months now. Little scary at first, but getting the hang of it now. Main reason I guess was the fact that Blogger does delete what it considers "adult" blogs. I think the last big one to disappear was La Fesse a couple of weeks back. So I figured I'd better do something about it if I was going to do anything at all. At the time, I was also considering moving more into affiliate blogging so thought I'd spank two birds with one paddle as it were lol. As for recommending this route, the main thing is to make sure you understand what is required. I'm not just talking about the financial outlay for things such as a domain name (about $10 per domain per year) or paid hosting (about $120 per year) but things needing to be learned to set up your blog in the first place. Finding a theme, best plugins, widgets and making sure you set up the necessary security. Wordpress is far more complicated than Blogger to use. Personally, I think the rewards are worth it. Top level domains will always rank better than sub domains which is what Blogger blogs are on - yeowchspanking.blogspot.com for example. The big advantage is that you won't wake up one morning to discover that your blog is gone and an email telling you that Blogger has deleted it along with your Google user account and picasa image content. Not sure how free Wordpress regards adult content as I've never used it."
I'd like to thank you for the help you gave MarQe's Study when I was setting out. YEOWCH! was one of the first major blogs to link me. Any exciting new blogs out there you think we should all check out & add to our blogrolls ?
"I think we both started out on our blogging adventure about the same time. Always loved your blog. We should hit 2 million clicks at about the same time lol. Isn't that amazing. It's difficult to pick anything out as there are so many great new spank bloggers coming onstream all the time. The Spank Bloggers Network is an excellent resource for new blogs as well as Bonnie's recommendations. A new one I do like is Wolfies Toons at http://wolfietoons.blogspot.
I saw your tribute to 'Gordon Sergeant' & the sad demise of London's premier spanking bookshop, 'Janus'. The end of an era or do you think Janus will grow with its new presence online ?
"Very sad to hear about the passing of GS and the closure of the Janus bookshop. Amazing place. The days of going into a newsagents and seeing half a dozen good spanking magazines for sale on the top shelf are long gone. I hope the new owners of Janus do make a success of their new online business so that spank collectors and long time fans can view and download content from their huge archive of spank material. Fingers crossed."

I love your 'Dream Spankee' series ..... if push came to shove who is your Dream spankee, mine's Jennifer Aniston so fess up ?
"Oh, hah, Jennifer Aniston huh? Get in line lol. Seriously, for me, it has to be Agnetha Faltskog, the blonde from ABBA. Back in the 70's, she won a poll for having the "best bum in the world" and I totally agree with that - even if I was about 13 at the time lol."

What sparked your interest in all things spanking & at what stage of life did it happen ?
"Ok, long answer cut very short. I was 12. Parents were out. Was in the house alone one Sunday evening and back in those days BBC2 used to have an old foreign black and white movie on in the late evening. From memory, I was reading a comic and glanced over at the tv to see this stern looking gentleman scolding this cute looking maid. He then grabbed her arm, walked over to a chair, sat down, hauled her over his lap and began to spank her. First over her skirts then over a pair of white bloomers. To say I was gobsmacked is an understatement. Something clicked. Penny dropped. Bells rang. And that was it. Been into spanking ever since. I discovered spank magazines when I was about 16 and the rest is history lol. As an aside, have never been in a relationship where spanking was a part of the mix. Probably explains why I started to write spank fiction when I first came online and discovered the spanking community. Had a lot of pent up frustration and stuff I needed to get out of my head I guess lol."
When your not concerning yourself with all things Spanking what are your other interests ?
"Oh, anything and everything. I'm naturally curious about all things. I'd say my main interests/hobbies are a love of science fiction books/movies/tv, retro music from the 50's to the 80's, and anything to do with geek technology. Big Newcastle United supporter as well - for my sins."
Newcastle eh ? Hmmmm! I won't mention that we did the double over you last season !

What's your honest opinion of Twitter ?
"Dunno yet, seems fun. But I haven't got a clue how to use it properly lol. Last time I checked I had 20 followers. No idea how I got them lol."
Which, in your opinion are the best pay sites out there? It seems to me that a lot are quite repetitive & lack fresh faces {or should that be bottoms?}
"Difficult. I agree that there's a lot of repetition. Same old same as it were. SPANKED IN UNIFORM is cool as it feeds my nurse fetish lol. Also like KANE ONLINE as it brings back a lot of good memories from purchasing their excellent magazine back in the early days. SHADOWLANE is a favourite as they feature Kyrie Kelly and Tanya Fox movies amongst their content. FIRM HAND SPANKING is not bad and does have Samantha Woodley amongst their spankee's which is a big plus for me. Better end this answer there or I'll be here all night lol."
Is there a next BIG step for spanking & its legion of devotees online or otherwise ?
"Heck, no idea. I think Tube sites and the availability of free content have done a lot of damage to online producers and we'll see more disappear sadly. Spanking is such a strange fetish. From a male perspective, it's not exactly an interest you can bring up on a first date so I think we'll see a growth for online "dating" sites for like minded people. I've had a look at a couple out there already but I'm way too chicken to sign up to them lol. I'm 50 and I don't think the old ticker could take the strain lol. The spanking internet is a wonderful thing and has been an absolute revelation to me in that I'm now able to share my iD with people who truly understand. So if there are any curvy, busty, red headed nurses reading this - give me a call lol."

Blimey, I actually come across as sensible and well adjusted. Must be some mistake lol. Enjoyed that and was fun to do. Look forward to more interviews with other spanking enthusiasts in the future.

Hi, 1st who's the redhead at the top? I'd love to see more of her, secondly that's a great pic of Agnetha, she has her own thread on the Vintage Erotica Forum which features lots more pics and a short clip of her, after a gig, walking along a corridor backstage. She's wearing a similar, bottom-hugging outfit and the video concentrates on that (the naughty boy!).
